Researching companies, products, brands, customers and competitors
Create cited research artifacts while preserving facts, hypotheses and unknowns.

Turn a defined business question into a cited research artifact that can be reviewed and reused. The planned research family covers companies, products, brands, customer hypotheses and competitors.
Choose a specialist question
Start with a named subject, relevant URLs or owned records, geography where it matters, and the decision you need to make. “Compare these three product offers” is a different scope from “discover competitors nationwide”.
Use the specialist guides for companies, products, brands, customers and competitors.
Preserve the research result
A durable artifact should include the exact question, subject identities, source references, observation times, findings, conflicting evidence and explicit unknowns. Derived conclusions must identify their assumptions. Review should produce proposed changes or follow-up work, not silently overwrite customer catalog facts.
An example competitor comparison can show observed offer differences without claiming that the entire market was searched.
Control acquisition
Source capture and analysis can have different prerequisites and costs. Reusing retained evidence is not permission to reacquire it in a read request. Changes in scope need a new explicit authorization.
Availability and limitations
These business APIs are planned. Category labels do not prove separate operational agents, complete provider coverage or factual accuracy. Customer research does not verify demand or grant permission to contact people.
