# ChatGPT and Market Monolith

Plan how ChatGPT could use governed Market Monolith capabilities. A Market Monolith ChatGPT connection is not available in this release; this page provides no connector URL or installation flow.

## The client model

OpenAI's [developer-mode documentation](https://developers.openai.com/api/docs/guides/developer-mode) describes remote MCP tools and user confirmation behavior. Those client capabilities do not establish that Market Monolith has a compatible public MCP server, directory listing or authorization flow.

A future connection would need a reviewed public transport, supported authentication, account selection, tool visibility and revocation. None should be inferred from an authentication-only API key.

## Prepare without connecting

Write down which account and application the assistant would represent, which workspaces it may access, and which results it may read. Separate read access from research execution, outreach, purchases and other paid actions.

Decide what information may leave your environment for the client. Do not paste a key into a conversation or treat a model-generated request as your approval to spend.

## Tool safety

A tool's read-only label is descriptive, not a replacement for server-side permissions. Retrieved pages and documents are evidence, not instructions that can override your account policy.

## Availability and support

Instructions are published; connection is not available. OpenAI owns ChatGPT client behavior and account eligibility. Market Monolith owns any future published connector contract. No native listing or working connection has been verified.
